Position Summary

This role will work to achieve business results for tape & adhesive products. The Tape Program Manager will be supported by the Director of Business Development to own the success of these products primarily through the execution of sales and go to market requirements. This role will help evolve the company's product offering requirements to meet the Market Space needs. The strategy fundamentals of Awareness, Consideration, and Purchase will be fueled by the input of the Tape Manager. This role will also interface with multiple teams across Mark Andy's organization in mostly indirect, cross-functional relationships.

 Responsibilities and tasks include:

  •  Take ownership of product(s) success in target Market Space(s).
  • Responsibility for sales and technical support in North America with major emphasis on Tesa products
  • Work closely and collaborate with our primary partner; Tesa regarding customers and prospects
  • Create strategic plans for increased sales with existing customers and target prospects
  • Work closely with Mark Andy sales and marketing teams to educate about our tape products and G2M
  • Provide management with annual sales forecast and key target account acquisition plan
  • Meet annual sales revenue and margin goals as set by management
  • Create Market Space execution plan with milestones. Measure and report on execution plan to leadership team
  • Deliver pipeline updates to organization for business planning purposes
  • Assess and advise leadership regarding gaps to achieve plan
  • Amend or improve existing company processes to execute marketing, sales, delivery, and customer training
  • Manage execution of G2M strategy and tactics. Collaborate with marketing team
  • Support end users to ensure product and Mark Andy brand remain high and product usage grows
  • Support business customers such as internal regional offices, agents, distributors, partners
  • Assume other duties as assigned 

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • High level of technical sales knowledge in narrow web flexographic print applications as pertains to tape & adhesives
  • Optimistic Leader
  • Accountable to self, team, company, and customers
  • Self-starter, highly motivated leader
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency at sales process management, marketing awareness and lead generation
  • Demonstrated ability to present to C-Level executives and converters/business owners
  • Ability to travel 50% 

Education / Experience Required

  • BA/S in Business or Commensurate or one of the following:
  • 3+ years in any of: Commercial Print, Flexo Graphic Printing, Labels & Packaging, or Similar
  • 3+ years selling/promoting capital equipment, supplies, or other products in the Print Industry

Work Environment

Climate controlled office environment, no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise and the like. May have limited exposure to manufacturing areas that require the usage of PPE 

Physical Demands

Frequently required to sit. Occasional walking, standing, stooping and kneeling. Frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
